December 4, 2024 First, for anyone that needs an advocate between you and the insurance company, I can CONFIDENTLY and COMPLETELY recommend David Otera. I had a slab leak in my home in Auggust 2022. I did not know anything about a public adjuster at that time and just dealt with the insurance company myself. What a nightmare!! There were 8 rooms that had damage as a result of this leak. The insurance adjuster came in and took some pictures and some measurements. I was requested to send in several estimates for repairs needed, which I did. Then I was told that the “check was in the mail” and that based on the guidelines the insurance company had this is what the sent. And if I had anything further to add to send it in and they would take a look at it. So, after several months I finally got the major things replaced and was able to start reorganizing things. Then, in January of 2024, it happened again. Two tmes. That makes 3 times in the same place. Here we go again with the insurance routine. And after the 3rd time the insurance adjuster did not come out again and look at the further damages. Space will not permit me to tell all the trauma and stress I went through in dealing with these situations. Just to say that I felt overwhelmed and frustrated is putting it mildly. When faced with take what money they give you and put a bandaid on the problem or fix the problem ON MY OWN so I don’t have to go through this again, was a hard decision as I am a widow on a fixed income. My son recommended for me to check with a public adjuster, so I looked for someone in my area to contat. I know that God still answers prayer because He lead me to David Otera!
